All women love the lighter hair. Bleaching your hair is not a good choice. It damages your hair. But what if I say that you can bleach your hair without damage? Yes, you read it right. In this post, I am going to discuss some of the natural ways to lighten your hair. You can try out these natural remedies to lighten your hair at home:

1. Baking Soda

Using baking soda is a great way to lighten your hair. You can use baking soda on your hair once in a week. Creating a paste is very easy. All you need is ½ cup of baking soda and ½ cup of warm water. Combine baking soda and water and prepare a smooth paste. Apply this paste on your hair and keep it for 20-25 minutes. Wash your hair with shampoo and apply conditioner.

2. Lemon

Lemon juice contains bleaching properties. You will simply need 1 cup lemon juice and ¼ cup warm water. Mix it up and spray the lemon juice mixture on your hair until it is saturated. Sit out in the sun for 1 or 2 hours. Wash it off with conditioner. If you wish you can mix lemon juice with coconut oil or olive oil or conditioner. Use this mixture once in a week for better results.

3. Cinnamon and Honey Mask

It is an amazing solution to lighten your hair naturally. Cinnamon activates the hydrogen peroxide in honey. To use this remedy, follow the steps given below:

  • Combine 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon.
  • Add little conditioner if the mixture is too thick.
  • Before applying it, keep it half hour to mix the honey and cinnamon and let it activate the hydrogen peroxide.
  • Apply the mixture to your hair and keep it for four hours.

This remedy will help you to lighten your hair and give shine too.

4. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple Cider Vinegar is a great ingredient to lighten your hair naturally without any damage. It has bleaching properties which will leave your hair with reddish highlights. You can use apple cider vinegar to de-tangle and de-frizz your hair.

Take ½ cup of apple cider vinegar and ½ cup of water. Pour it in the spray bottle to mix it well. Spray that water on your hair and keep it for 30 minutes. Wash your hair with cool water.

5. Heena Powder

Henna powder mixed with chamomile can give a great result to lighten your hair. Use this remedy one or two times a month. Take 3 tablespoons of henna powder and mix it with ½ of hot water. Let the mixture sit overnight.

In the morning, apply this mixture to your hair and keep it for 2 to 3 hours. Wash your hair with warm water. The henna powder can lighten very dark brunettes by providing reddish highlights.

6. Salt

Salt can lighten your hair naturally. Simply take 1 tablespoon of salt and ½ cup of warm water. Mix it up in bottle spray. Apply this mixture to your hair. Keep it for at least 15 minutes. 7. Chamomile Tea and Honey

  • You will need 2 chamomile tea bags, warm water, and honey.
  • Soak those tea bags in a cup of hot steaming water.
  • Cool it down and add 2 tablespoons of honey.
  • Mix it in the spray bottle.
  • Spray this mixture all over your hair.
  • Wait till your hair dries.
  • Wash your hair with cool water.

Apply this mixture twice in a week to get better results. It also helps you to soften your hair. You can try all the above remedies. All are pretty effective and most important natural. No need to worry about hair damage while using these remedies.
